Our first stop is the State Library of Victoria, one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. The La Trobe Reading Room’s beautiful dome is the highlight of the visit.

Just a short walk away from the library is Hosier Lane, Melbourne’s ever-changing street art gallery. Every corner here is a photo opportunity.

For lunch, I dined at Dragon Hot Pot. You pick your ingredients, they weigh it, and cook it in a rich mala tang broth.

For dessert, I headed to Kariton Sorbetes, a Filipino-inspired gelato shop with unique flavors. I tried their ube and pastillas flavors.

I ended the day with a stroll along the Yarra River, a peaceful walk with beautiful views of the city.

Day 2 started with a visit to the Royal Exhibition Building, a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by Carlton Gardens.

I also visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral, one of Australia’s finest Gothic Revival churches, known for its stunning stained glass windows.

Next was the Shrine of Remembrance, where I climbed to the balcony for one of the best panoramic views of Melbourne.

For pasalubong shopping, I visited DFO South Wharf, an outlet mall filled with big brands offering great discounts.
I then tried some rides at Luna Park, a century-old amusement park that’s home to the Scenic Railway, the world’s oldest operating wooden roller coaster.
Just a short walk away is St. Kilda Beach, where watching the golden sunset was the perfect way to end the day.

The next day, I traveled to Brighton Beach to see the colorful Brighton Bathing Boxes, one of Melbourne’s most Instagrammable spots.

To get a glimpse of local life, I visited Queen Victoria Market, where you can find everything from fresh produce to unique local crafts.

I spent a relaxing afternoon at the Royal Botanic Gardens, a peaceful escape in the middle of the city.

I also tried the local coffee and some silky eggs benedict at Brick Lane, one of Melbourne’s beloved brunch spots.

I made the most of my last day by visiting the National Gallery of Victoria to see some incredible Australian and international art collections.

Finally, I wrapped up the trip at ACMI, Melbourne’s museum of movies, video games, and interactive exhibits.
